Georgia has a long and proud tradition of advocating for strong, impactful school nutrition programs. Our state continues to lead the nation thanks to the partnership between our Georgia State Legislators, the Georgia Department of Education’s School Nutrition Division, and dedicated GSNA members.
Join us in the heart of Atlanta as we continue this important work—strengthening relationships, sharing our stories, and educating lawmakers on the vital role School Nutrition plays in student success.
The GSNA Legislative Advocacy Conference (LAC) is your opportunity to speak up for meaningful change and influence policies that support school nutrition programs statewide.

Participants will take part in dynamic small-group roundtable discussions and engage in legislative advocacy training that offers fresh insights for advocates at every level.
The agenda also includes guidance on conducting effective legislative visits, useful whether you’re refining long-standing skills or looking to sharpen your approach. Attendees will receive important updates on legislative concerns and a clear overview of GSNA’s 2026 legislative priorities, ensuring everyone stays informed and prepared for the year ahead.
